Basic Info
- The body of the Subaru SSS is placed in the tunnel next to the gearbox.
- The conversion is provided by a series of rods running to the body. One of the rods determines the gear lever position with the other one securing the change of gear.
- The whole mechanism (body, rods etc.) is protected from underneath by the skidplate.
- The SSS consists of a safety lock to avoid shifting into the neutral or reverse gears during shifting into low gears. The neutral and reverse can be only engaged if the safety lock is released.
- The SSS is also equipped with a shifting booster (magnet) which assists in selecting gears faster and easier
- A Digital Indicator is supplied to view the selected gear.
